Forthcoming events: Sandomierz Poetry Translation Competition Polish poets and translators choose the winners of the Sandomierz Regional Museum poetry translation competition dedicated this year to the work of a renowned British poet, W.H .Auden.

Poetry Slam Poetry slam is performance poetry where the entire audience judges the poets’ performances and openly expresses their views on poets’ work. This slam edition will present two British artists: Nii Ayikwei Parkes and Diké Omeje. Both guests will also conduct a workshop on this very innovative approach to poetry.

Dave McKean at Warsaw Comics Convention Dave McKean, one of Britain’s most famous comics & books illustrators, best known for his co-operation with Neil Gaiman on the Sandman series, will give a presentation on his work at this year’s comics convention. The visit is organised within Imagine This programme.
